Delhi Meerut Expressway Toll

Delhi Meerut Expressway Toll charges are applicable for vehicles travelling on different sections of the Delhi–Meerut Expressway (DME), one of India’s fastest and most modern expressways connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. Operated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the expressway uses advanced toll collection systems including FASTag for seamless and cashless travel.

The Delhi Meerut Expressway significantly reduces travel time between Delhi and Meerut, making it a preferred route for daily commuters, business travellers, and tourists. Toll charges on the expressway vary depending on the vehicle type, travel distance, and entry-exit points used during the journey.

Vehicles such as cars, jeeps, vans, buses, trucks, and commercial vehicles are charged according to NHAI toll categories. Important toll plazas on the Delhi Meerut Expressway are located near Sarai Kale Khan, Ghaziabad, Dasna, and Meerut sections. FASTag-enabled lanes help reduce waiting time and traffic congestion across the route.

The expressway stretches approximately 96 kilometres from Delhi to Meerut and passes through major NCR locations including Akshardham, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Dasna, Modinagar, and Partapur. Due to its smooth connectivity and high-speed corridor design, the Delhi Meerut Expressway has become one of the most important road infrastructure projects in North India.

Apart from improving road transportation, the Delhi Meerut Expressway has also boosted real estate growth, commercial development, tourism, and regional connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR. Travellers using the expressway can enjoy faster, safer, and more efficient travel between Delhi and Meerut.
