The Delhi to Meerut RRTS is a semi-high-speed rail project connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. It is 82.15 km long, and under development; after completion of the full project, the route will be covered in less than one hour.
As mentioned above, the total project length is approximately 82.15 km, including 68.03 km of elevated track and 14.12 km of underground section. Around 21 km of the corridor, from Meerut South RRTS Station to Modipuram RRTS Station, is operating within Meerut city, improving urban connectivity and public transportation for local commuters.
There are a total of 16 stations on the Delhi Meerut RRTS Route Map, where RapidX have a stop; out of these 16, 4 stations have a stop in Meerut. Apart from these, there will be two depots at grade: one is Duhai Depot in Ghaziabad, and the other is Modipuram Depot in Meerut.
