Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station

Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station in Meerut is nearing completion and is expected to become operational by the end of April 2025. Strategically located on Delhi Road—right across from Shopprix Mall and near the Dainik Jagran office—the station is part of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor.

The final phases of construction and finishing work are underway. Currently, the Namo Bharat Trains are operating along a 55-kilometre stretch between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South. The six-kilometre extension to Shatabdi Nagar has already seen track laying and overhead electrification (OHE) completed. Once operational, the Shatabdi Nagar station will significantly enhance connectivity to Meerut’s inner city areas.

Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Rail Station, designated with the station code A13, is an elevated station set to serve both the Namo Bharat trains and the Meerut Metro. It will also offer seamless interchange facilities with the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail corridor.

From Shatabdi Nagar, the next station toward Sarai Kale Khan is Meerut South, while the next station in the direction of Modipuram is Begumpul, which is currently under construction. This multi-modal connectivity is expected to significantly boost commuter convenience and regional transit efficiency.
