The NCRTC is a joint venture between the Government of India and the states of Haryana, Rajasthan, UP, and Delhi. The joint venue company has ownership of Rapidx, an RRTS project across the NCR. The Union Cabinet approved the formation of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) under the Companies Act 1956, in July 2013.
