Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh, with each holding a 50% ownership stake. Headquartered at Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, UPMRC was established on Monday, 25th November 2013, and is responsible for developing and operating metro rail services across the state of Uttar Pradesh. The organization is currently led by Sushil Kumar (IRSE), who serves as the Managing Director.

Management Team of UPMRCL

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is led by a team of distinguished professionals under the guidance of Shri Srinivas R. Katikithala, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, who also serves as the Chairman of UPMRC. The organization is headed by Shri Sushil Kumar, the Managing Director. The leadership team also includes Shri Navin Kumar, Director of Rolling Stock & Systems; Shri Sheel Kumar Mittal, Director of Finance; Shri Chandra Pal Singh, Director of Works and Operations; and Shri Prashant Mishra, Director of Operations. Together, they oversee the planning, execution, and smooth functioning of metro rail projects across Uttar Pradesh.
