District Magistrate of Meerut

The District Magistrate of Meerut (DM Meerut) is the chief administrative officer of Meerut district and is responsible for maintaining law and order, implementing government schemes, overseeing revenue administration, conducting elections, and coordinating development projects across the district. The District Magistrate also supervises various government departments and ensures effective public service delivery throughout Meerut.

The current District Magistrate of Meerut is Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, IAS, who assumed office on 18 January 2025. The Office of the District Magistrate is located at the Collectorate, Meerut, and serves as the headquarters for district administration. Under the leadership of the District Magistrate, the administration works to promote infrastructure development, public welfare, disaster management, and overall governance in Meerut district.
