The first trial run of the Meerut Metro took place between Meerut South Station and Meerut Central Station on January 12, 2025. As of today, the project is on track to be completed by end of 2025.

Daurli Meerut Metro Station is the next station from MES Colony Metro Station. The station code is A19, owned by NCRTC. The station is expected to be operational by the end of 2025. It is an elevated station that has no Namo Bharat Train connectivity. Only the Meerut Metro will stop at the Daurli Meerut Metro Station. The next metro station towards Modipuram is Meerut North Metro Station.
