The Meerut Metro is being developed in two phases, with the first phase currently under construction alongside the RRTS. Both phases are 38.60 km (24.0 mi) long and feature 25 stations—13 in the first and 12 in the second phases. Additionally, there will be interchange points with the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System at the Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram stations.
