The New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station was constructed near the already operational New Ashok Nagar Metro Station, the distance between them being merely 100 meters. NCRTC will provide a FOB (Free on Board) to facilitate the integration of both modes. This FOB will connect the concourse level of the metro station to the floor below the concourse level of the RRTS station.
To improve connectivity and access to the station and its adjoining areas, NCRTC is constructing two more FOBs at this station. On one side of the RRTS station, a FOB will connect the nearby areas of Chilla Village and the Mayur Vihar Extension. On the other side, a FOB will be provided near the Ancient Shiv Temple for ease of access to the residents of New Ashok Nagar.
New Ashok Nagar Rapid Metro Station
On 5th January 2025, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar RRTS Station; the station is owned by NCRTC. Rapid Metro at this station can operate at up to 180 km/h.
New Ashok Nagar RRTS and Delhi Metro Station Connectivity- The Delhi Metro Station of New Ashok Nagar is located at a 100-meter distance and both RRTS and Metro are interconnected here. To ensure connectivity with it, the station has been built with an extended level as the concourse area below the viaduct running above for a walkway to the metro station, and for a more enhanced passenger experience, with the help of multiple shops and other facilities.

New Ashok Nagar Rapid Metro Station Facilities
The station has all advanced facilities and amenities equipped with groundbreaking technology as prevalent in the existing and upcoming stations of the Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. It is unique as compared to other stations, as it has an extended concourse beneath its platform level and the viaduct running above towards the western side of the station, to provide direct connectivity with the nearby Delhi Metro’s New Ashok Nagar metro station.
It has all facilities to facilitate passengers like three entry/exit points, parking space to the north-western side of the station with electric vehicle charging points, lifts, escalators, stairs, retail stores and stalls covering the concourse for an enhanced experience, washrooms, drinking water areas, ticket and token vending machines, enquiry desks, a station control area, additional facilities like wheelchairs for physically-challenged passengers and emergency equipment like firefighting and medical assistance services.
