The Anand Vihar RRTS Station is Delhi’s first operational RRTS station; the station code is A02. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation also operates and manages the Anand Vihar Rapid Rail Station. There are only two underground stations in the Delhi Meerut Rapid Rail Route: the Anand Vihar Rapid Metro Station is the first, and the Begumpul Rapid Metro Station in Meerut will be the second.

The Anand Vihar Rapid Rail Station will feature two underground island platforms serving the Delhi–Meerut line. The station is located at a depth of 8 meters below ground level.
On the Delhi Meerut RRTS route, Anand Vihar RRTS Station will be the 4th station from the Delhi side and it will become the 10th RRTS operational station. From the Anand Vihar Rapid Metro Station, the next station towards Jangpura is New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station and towards Meerut, it is Sahibabad RRTS Station.
