The Sahibabad Rapid Station is owned by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation; it was first opened to the general public on 21st October 2023, when PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sahibabad to Duhai section of Delhi Meerut RRTS on 20th October 2023.

Modinagar South Rapid Station- The operation of Modi Nagar South Rapid Rail Station was started on 7th March 2024, and the inauguration of this station was done by PM Modi via video conferencing from Kolkata. This station will also serve the area of Modinagar along with Modinagar North Station.

Sahibabad to Modi Nagar South Rapid Metro Ticket Price

There are two types of ticket prices in Rapid Metro between Delhi and Meerut. The premium coach ticket price is just double the standard coach fare, but since December 2024, the NCRTC has provided a discount on premium tickets and now the ticket price has changed. The ticket fare between Sahibabad and Modinagar South station is Rs. 80 for the standard coach and Rs. 95 for the premium coach.
