About Modipuram Meerut Metro Station

The Modipuram Meerut Metro Station is the 2nd last station of the Meerut Metro Phase 1. It is located on National Highway 58. It is 215 meters long, around 34 meters wide, and approximately 16 meters high. The station code of Modipuram is A21, it is owned by NCRTC and is expected to be opened by the end of 2025. It is an elevated station that has connectivity to the Namo Bharat Train as well. Here, you can interchange for the Namo Bharat Train. The next metro station towards Meerut South is Meerut North Metro Station.

For public convenience, a foot overbridge (FOB) is being built to connect both sides of the highway. This FOB will benefit Namo Bharat passengers and pedestrians looking to cross the road. The FOB construction is nearly complete, and civil work on the PEB structure is underway.

The station is expected to benefit residents of Modipuram and nearby areas like Pallavpuram, Palhaida, Dulhaida Chauhan, and residential societies such as A2Z and Supertech. Modipuram station features two entry-exit points. Technical rooms are almost complete, and the station includes three platforms, eight staircases, and eight escalators—four connecting the platforms to the concourse and two each at the entry-exits. Additionally, six lifts have been installed.

Modipuram Meerut Metro Station Construction Update

Recently, track laying work has been completed at Modipuram, the last Namo Bharat station (towards Meerut) of this corridor. This station has three platforms—two for Namo Bharat trains and one for Meerut Metro. The civil work at this station is in its final stage, with the construction of the station roof (PEB) and finishing works progressing rapidly.

Steel railings have been fully installed at Entry–Exit A (from Delhi towards Modipuram), and the granite stonework is now complete. Railing installation at Entry–Exit B (towards Delhi) has also been finished. Trial runs, earlier conducted between Meerut South and Shatabdi Nagar, have now been successfully extended all the way to Modipuram, marking the completion of all major works.
