Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station in Meerut has been fully constructed and is ready for operations of both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro services. Located on Delhi Road, directly opposite Shopprix Mall and near the Dainik Jagran office, the station is now awaiting final approval from higher authorities and is expected to become operational by the end of 2025.
Namo Bharat Train is currently running on a 55-kilometre stretch between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South. Once the Shatabdi Nagar station opens, Namo Bharat will provide improved connectivity to the inner areas of Meerut city.

About Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station
The Station Code of Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Rail Station is A13. This station will facilitate Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro, and the facility for interchange to Delhi Meerut Rapid Rail will be available here. Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Metro Station is an Elevated Station. The next station towards Sarai Kale Khan from Shatabdi Nagar is Meerut South, and towards Modipuram is Begumpul, which is under construction.
Shatabdi Nagar RRTS will have three levels – platform, concourse and street level. Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station will be 215 meters long and 30 meters wide. The rail tracks will be constructed at a height of 15 meters above ground level.
Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station Location- The address of Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Metro Station is Shatabdi Nagar, Sector 5, MDA, Meerut. The station is located in front of Shopprix Mall and it is also near to Dainik Jagran’s office on Delhi Road, Meerut.
The station is also situated close to an industrial area, providing a major advantage to the workforce there. With the availability of Namo Bharat services, their daily commute will become significantly faster and more convenient.
Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station Opening Date
The opening of Shatabdi Nagar station will also benefit commuters traveling towards Hapur from the Bijli Bamba bypass. Additionally, residents of nearby areas such as Brahmapuri, Rail Vihar (Rithani), Panchvati Enclave, Supertech Palm Green Society, and Jalvayu Tower will gain convenient access to the Rapid Rail network.
From the 2nd week of January, the trial run of the Meerut Metro Train is being done by NCRTC from Meerut South to Meerut Central Station, and from February Month, the trial run of the Namo Bharat Train is also being done from Meerut South to Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Metro Station.
Opening Date of Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station- It is expected that the Shatabdi Nagar Rapid Rail Station will open before the end of 2025.
The power substation in Shatabdi Nagar became fully operational on 12th February for the operation of the Namo Bharat Train and Metro in the Meerut section of the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor. With this, the power supply has started from Meerut South to Shatabdi Nagar. Now, only the green signal from the Metro Rail Safety Commissioner is awaited.
NCRTC is setting up power substations at five places on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor – Sarai Kale Khan, Ghaziabad, Muradnagar, Shatabdinagar and Modipuram in Meerut. The first power station has become operational in Shatabdinagar city, while the second is under construction in Modipuram.
