Begumpul Meerut Metro Station spans approximately 246 meters in length and 24.5 meters in width, with a depth of about 22 meters. Despite its depth, passenger convenience has been a priority, with provisions for 20 escalators strategically placed at various entry and exit points to facilitate movement between levels. Of these, 13 escalators have already been installed.
Begumpul station consists of four levels: ground, mezzanine, concourse, and platform. Passenger facilities will be available at the concourse level, where travellers can enter through the AFC gate after security checks. The platform level features an island design, allowing trains to operate in both directions.

Begumpul, a key commercial hub in Meerut, is home to the city’s largest underground Namo Bharat station. The tracks for both the up and down lines have been laid, and the station is in its final phase of construction, with finishing work progressing rapidly. Simultaneously, tasks such as flooring and marble installation are also underway.

The Begumpul Meerut Metro Station is one of Meerut Metro’s underground stations, situated at Bharat Mata Chowk (Begumpul), Meerut. The station code of Begumpul is A17, which is managed by the National Capital Regional Transport Corporation (NCRTC).

Ticket Price of Begumpul Metro Station
Preparations for Namo Bharat extension and Meerut Metro operations in Meerut on the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor have intensified. The work of fixing the ticket prices has also been started by NCRTC. The fare for Meerut Metro travel will be fixed by the end of this month or by March.
According to NCRTC officials, the process is underway. It is expected that the minimum fare for Metro in Meerut can be 15 to 20 rupees, and the maximum can be 80 to 100 rupees. The official fare chart will be announced before the start of operations.
