The Meerut Metro Project has been under construction since 2019, when PM Modi laid down the foundation stone along with the RRTS project. Now both these projects are near to complete where Delhi Meerut RRTS project has started from Meerut to Delhi and for Meerut Metro the NCRTC is planning to made it operational partially.

There are 13 metro stations in the Meerut Metro phase 1, and Rithani Meerut Metro Station is one of them. The station has no stoppage of Delhi Meerut RRTS, and only Meerut Metro will stop here. From 12th January 2025, a trial run of Meerut Metro is conducting from Meerut South to Meerut Central Station

About Rithani Meerut Metro Station
The Name of the Metro Station of Rithani Village is “Rithani Meerut Metro Station“, and it is situated at Village Rithani, Meerut. The station code of Rithani is A12, and this elevated station is managed/operated by NCRTC. The expected Rithani Metro Station opening date is before April 2025.
After Partapur, there is the Rithani Metro Station, near which some industrial areas have also been built. The length of the station is 75 meters and the height is about 15 meters. Finishing work in the station is going on at a rapid pace, which is nearing completion. There are two entry-exits at the station, work on one of which is almost complete. The technical rooms of the station are also ready.
