Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station Opening Date

Shatabdi Nagar Station will also serve as an interchange point between the Meerut Metro and the Namo Bharat Train. Once both services become operational at this station, passengers will be able to conveniently switch between the two networks, enhancing overall connectivity and travel convenience within the city.

Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Opening Date- The trial runs of both the Namo Bharat Train and the Meerut Metro have been underway for the past 5–6 months and have been completed. The power substation at Shatabdi Nagar became fully operational on 12th February, enabling seamless operation of both services in the Meerut section of the Delhi–Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor. Currently, the final approval from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety is awaited. The Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station is expected to open for public use—serving both the Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro—in November 2025.

Once the Shatabdi Nagar Station becomes operational, it will greatly benefit commuters travelling towards Hapur via the Bijli Bamba bypass. Residents of nearby areas such as Brahmapuri, Rithani, Transport Nagar, Madhavpuram, Saraswati Lok, Metro Plaza, and others will gain convenient access to the Rapid Rail network, significantly improving connectivity and reducing travel time.
