NCRTC Job

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a 50:50 Joint Ownership Company between the Government of India (GoI) and the State Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and the NCT of Delhi. Its funding structure is distributed among various stakeholders: the Central Government contributes a total of 50%, with 22.5% each from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs and the Ministry of Railways, and 5% from the National Capital Region Planning Board. The remaining 50% is shared equally among the four participating state governments, with 12.5% each from the Governments of NCT Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. This collaborative model ensures a unified and balanced approach to the development of regional rapid transit infrastructure in the NCR.

According to the Regional Transit Plan, a total of eight RRTS corridors have been identified, out of which three corridors—Delhi-Alwar, Delhi-Panipat, and Delhi-Meerut—have been prioritized for early implementation. The Delhi-Meerut corridor, with an estimated cost of ₹30,274 crore, was sanctioned by the Government of India in 2019. As part of its phased development, a 55 km stretch from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South has already been opened for commercial operations.
