The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a joint venture between the Government of India and the state governments of Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. It holds ownership of the RAPIDX project, a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) initiative aimed at enhancing high-speed connectivity across the National Capital Region (NCR).
Established on August 21, 2013, the NCRTC was formed with equal financial participation—50% of the seed capital was contributed by the Government of India, while the remaining 50% was shared equally among the four partner states, with each contributing 12.5%.
