By 2025, the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Metro will be operational, connecting one corner of Meerut to the last corner of Delhi, specifically from Modipuram, Meerut, to Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi, with a maximum travel time of 60 minutes. The NCRTC owns the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail project.

  1. How To Reach Meerut From Delhi By Metro?

    The Rapid Metro is now operational between Delhi and Meerut, allowing passengers to travel from Delhi to Meerut in under 60 minutes. Currently, there are a total of 11 operational stations along the Delhi–Meerut RRTS (Regional Rapid Transit System) route.

    In Delhi, two Rapid Metro stations are operational: New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar. In Meerut, the Meerut South station is currently operational.

    Passengers can board the Namo Bharat train from either Anand Vihar or New Ashok Nagar and travel towards Modipuram, reaching Meerut South RRTS station in under an hour.
